Of Blades & Tails is a role-playing game based on large map turn-based combat, with a fresh pixel styleGraphical and randomly generated dungeons and caves. Players play as Fox Rick to explore the vast open world. Like traditional RPG games, they fight and use the loot obtained to improve their character's abilities and equipment.

Game background

A turn-based RPG that is action-oriented but rewards a thoughtful approach. Discover a magical land inhabited by different tribes of animals. You play as Rick, an intelligent member of the fox tribe. A series of unfortunate events leads you on a vital quest to defeat all the peaceful creatures in the kingdom. You must leave your hometown and explore the world to become strong enough to resist evil. (In other words: there will be a major storyline, but it's still a work in progress!)

Gameplay is inspired by classic Hack & Slays games like Diablo and turn-based RPGs like Legend of Machiar or Purple Hedron. However, there are no permanent paths in this game. It aims to be an accessible and entertaining Action RPG.
